1) Definitions and legal references
Personal Data (or Data)
Personal Data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person\u2014including indirectly, by reference to any other information, such as a personal identification number.
Usage Data
This refers to information collected automatically by this Application (or by third-party applications used by this Application), including: the IP addresses or domain names of the computers utilized by the User connecting to this Application, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) \u200b\u200baddresses, the time of the request, the method utilized to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful outcome, error, etc.), the country of origin, the characteristics of the browser and operating system used by the visitor, various time-related details of the visit (for example, the time spent on each page), and details regarding the path followed within the Application\u2014with particular reference to the sequence of pages visited\u2014as well as parameters concerning the User’s operating system and IT environment.<\/p>\n

User
The individual using this Application, who must coincide with the Data Subject or be authorized by them, and whose Personal Data are being processed.<\/p>\n

Data Subject
The natural or legal person to whom the Personal Data refers.<\/p>\n

Data Processor (or Processor)

Sending of newsletters following the User\u2019s subscription;
Management of the \u201cWork with us\u201d section for personnel recruitment and selection purposes;
To fulfill pre-contractual, contractual, and tax obligations arising from existing relationships with you;
To fulfill obligations required by law, regulations, Community legislation, or an order of the Authority;
To prevent or detect fraudulent activity or harmful abuse of the website;
To exercise the Data Controller’s rights, for example, the right of legal defense.<\/p>\n

This site processes data based on consent:
\u2013 explicitly requested from the User upon opening the home page via a dedicated banner regarding profiling purposes;
\u2013 explicitly requested for the provision of a specific service, such as the sending of a newsletter,
\u2013 through the use or consultation of this site, in relation to the further methods and purposes described, including any disclosure to third parties if necessary for the provision of a service.
However, certain data may be processed based on the user’s legitimate interest in accessing content published on the Data Controller’s websites and in the proper administration and management thereof, including the security and proper functioning of the site.<\/p>\n

3) Processing methods
The processing of your personal data is carried out by means of the operations indicated in Art. 4(2) of the GDPR, specifically: collection, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, retrieval, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, erasure, and destruction of data. Your personal data are subject to both paper-based and electronic processing.<\/p>\n

4) Access to data
Your data may be made accessible for the purposes referred to in Art. 2:
To the Data Controller\u2019s employees and collaborators, in their capacity as persons authorized to process data and\/or internal data processors and\/or system administrators;
To external companies (e.g., website management and maintenance providers, suppliers, financial institutions, professional firms, etc.) that perform outsourced activities on behalf of the Data Controller, in their capacity as external data processors.
Companies performing functions closely connected and instrumental to the operations\u2014including technical aspects\u2014of Mag Meccanica S.r.l.\u2019s services, such as providers of marketing and customer care services, companies providing archiving, administrative, payment, and invoicing services, and companies supplying technical components for the provision of specific service functionalities.
administrative and judicial bodies and authorities, by virtue of legal obligations.<\/p>\n

5) Disclosure of data
Without your express consent (Art. 6(b) and (c) GDPR), the Data Controller may disclose your data for the purposes referred to in Art. 2) to supervisory bodies, judicial authorities, and any other entities to whom disclosure is required by law for the fulfillment of said purposes. Your data will not be disseminated.<\/p>\n

6) Data transfer
Personal data will be managed and stored on servers located within the European Union, belonging to the Data Controller and\/or third-party companies duly appointed as Data Processors. In any event, the Data Controller reserves the right, should the need arise, to relocate the servers to Italy, the European Union, and\/or countries outside the EU. In such a case, the Data Controller guarantees that any transfer of data outside the EU will take place in compliance with applicable legal provisions, including\u2014where necessary\u2014by entering into agreements ensuring an adequate level of protection and\/or adopting the standard contractual clauses established by the European Commission.<\/p>\n

7) Nature of data provision and consequences of refusal to respond
Providing data for the purposes referred to in Art. 2) is necessary to ensure the provision of the Services you have requested.
However, providing data for promotional purposes (see the Newsletter section) and profiling purposes (requested via the initial banner) is optional; any refusal to provide consent will not have negative consequences for the provision of the service offered through the website (indicate company website) and related applications.<\/p>\n

8) Data retention period and methods
Personal data will be stored in paper and\/or electronic\/digital format for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes specified above, in compliance with your privacy and applicable regulations.
For analysis purposes aimed at service development and improvement, the user’s personal data may be retained for 36 months for security and prevention reasons.
For direct marketing and profiling purposes, we retain your data for a maximum period consistent with applicable regulations (24 and 12 months, respectively).<\/p>\n

Should you exercise your right to be forgotten by requesting the express deletion of personal data processed by the data controller, please note that such data will be retained\u2014in a protected manner and with restricted access\u2014solely for the purposes of investigating and prosecuting crimes, for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of the request; thereafter, the data will be securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized.<\/p>\n

Electronic traffic data\u2014excluding the content of communications\u2014will be retained for a period not exceeding six years from the date of communication, pursuant to Article 24 of Law No. 167\/2017, which transposed EU Directive 2017\/541 on counter-terrorism.<\/p>\n

1. C) Obtain:
The updating, rectification, or\u2014where there is an interest\u2014the supplementation of the data;
The deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including data whose retention is unnecessary in relation to the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
Confirmation that the operations referred to in Articles 8(A) and (B) have been brought to the attention\u2014including as regards their content\u2014of those to whom the data were communicated or disseminated, except where this proves impossible or involves the use of means that are manifestly disproportionate to the right being protected;
1. D) Object, in whole or in part:
On grounds relating to the processing of personal data concerning you, even if relevant to the purpose of the collection;
Where applicable, you also have the rights set forth in Articles 16\u201321 of the GDPR (right to rectification, right to be forgotten, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, right to object), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.<\/p>\n
